Gladiator - Way of the Warrior Exhibition Stunning arms & armour and costumes from the biggest blockbuster movies, including Gladiator, The Last Samurai, Saving Private Ryan, and Kingdom of Heaven, to name but a few. See the iconic armour worn by Russell Crowe (General Maximus) and Joaquin Phoenix (Emperor Commodus) in Gladiator. A hands-on exhibition for all the family, with replica arms and armour that can be handled and worn. A Kids’ Corner with activities designed for children. Agatha Christie Festival Festival On 15th September 2010, Torquay's famous literary daughter Agatha Christie would have been 120 years old and to help celebrate, the organisers of the annual festival have a really special programme of murder, mischief and mayhem on the cards. Over 40 events are planned for the festival including talks, walks, plays, films, dances, book signings, boat trips, murder mystery dinners and a few very special surprises for this grand anniversay.
